Ms. Monahan has over 35 years of professional experience in real estate, managing and working in both the luxury and commercial sectors. Working on a national basis in real estate organizations has provided her with a strong client and peer network internationally.
She owned a boutique real estate company and then co-owned an international brokerage firm in Connecticut for over 10 years. She has done substantial consulting, mentoring, sale and lease activities and her background in the New England gave her a wide spectrum of experiences. Since moving to Florida, she’s worked as a Regional Director, a new agent mentor and consultant. In 2011, she moved to Keller Williams Realty continuing to work with her Commercial Clients. Her passion for her profession and for service excellence gives her Clients confidence and successful results.
She served several years as a director on the board of Connecticut Economic Development, managed the Gull, a popular restaurant, and was an Owner/Manager of a large/28 room “Top Ten America’s Painted Ladies” B&B. Along with 3 other women, she created a Celebrity Lecture Series in NJ which opened oversubscribed and always had a waiting list for its 5 years until the founding members moved on to other locations. She, her husband, daughter Tamara and son Kevin spent the years before moving to CT modeling in NYC.
Monahan has been affiliated with and served as leadership in the CCIM Commercial Organization Nationally, Regionally, Statewide and in SWFL. She worked through leadership and was Pesident in both CT and FL. She was President twice of the SWFL CREW Chapter (Commercial Real Estate Women) and a national delegate for over 5 years.
Ms Monahan attended the Sorbonne University, Paris, France, the University of Maryland, Munich, Germany, the University of Houston, Texas and the Weiss School of Television, NYC, NY.
